We are dedicated to providing our patients with the most comprehensive annual eye exam to determine the eyeglass prescription for optimal vision. Every year our doctors will examine your eyes for glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
This device utilizes ultrasound to specifically measure the thickness of the cornea in various sections, information that is critical in determining candidacy for refractive surgery. In addition, recent clinical research has utilized pachymetry measures to diagnose and monitor glaucoma.
Our office is equipped with a Humphrey/Zeiss Visual Field Analyzer that measures the point-by-point sensitivity of peripheral vision. This is important in diagnosing and monitoring glaucoma and neurological disorders that may have visual consequences.
Electronically stored high-resolution photographs which aid in the management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other retinal conditions.

Optomap Retinal Exam The optomap retinal exam provides an in depth view of the retinal layers (where disease can start.) It provides an annual, permanent record for your medical file, which gives your Doctor comparisons for tracking and diagnosing potential eye disease. The optomap exam is fast, easy, comfortable and for many patients replaces the need for eye dilation.
GDX
The GDx is a sophisticated nerve fiber analyizer used for the detection and treatment of glaucoma. It measures the thickenss of the nerve tissue and records crucial information that can be used to monitor and treat glaucoma.
