Symptoms of an Eye Emergency:

  • Flashes/Floaters

  • Eye injury

  • Eye discharge

  • Eye pain

  • Bruising or swelling

  • Light sensitivity

  • Sudden blurred or loss of vision

  • Double vision

  • Foreign object in the eye

  • Redness

  • Vision distortions

We understand eye emergencies can be stressful, and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible—often same day—to protect you vision and comfort. We also offer after-hours emergency triage and assistance to ensure you get the care and guidance you need when urgent eye problems arise.


If you experience a penetrating eye injury, severe trauma, or have accompanying stroke-like symptoms (numbness or weakness, difficulty speaking, confusion, nausea and vomiting), please go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
